But the Mammootty Juggernaut rolls on relentlessly, conquering everything in its path. The talk of Mollywood these days is that the Malayalam megastar has scaled yet another peak in his success-studded career. In the process, the actor who refuses to age, has created a new record as well! 
Well, the record is that, for the first time in Indian cinema, a film will have its fourth sequel. And its hero is no other than Mammootty. What more can you ask for? The fourth in the CBI series is entitled Nerariyan CBI. The film, shooting for which has already started, will be directed by K. Madhu and produced by SN Swamy. In the film, Mammootty will have as his assistants Mukesh and Jagathy Sreekumar, who figured in the first of the series named ‘CBI Diarykurippu’, made way back in 1987. Mammootty's heroine in ‘Nerariyan CBI’ will be Gopika , who incidentally played a key role in Vesham too. Veterans Thilakan and Nedumudi Venu also play important roles in ‘Nerariyan CBI’. The second of the CBI series, ‘Jaagrata’, came in 1991, and the third, ‘CBI Sethurama Iyer’ in 2003. All the films were bumper successes. Meanwhile, Mammootty's latest flick, Thaskaraveeran , is packing a success-packed punch. Trade circles say the movie has collected in the first week itself an astounding Rs 1.40 crore from 39 centres! There is more good news for his fans. Another Mammootty-film, ‘Rappagal’, will see the light of the day by the end of this month. The film, directed by Kamal will have two heroines, Geethu Mohandas and Nayanthara . So, Mammootty's success saga, which unfolded in early 2004, continues to animate Mollywood.
