Shilpa Shetty, whose last two films Karz and Rishtey bit the dust at the marquee, is reported to have clinched a plum offer in Ramgopal Varma’s next celluloid production.
If the grapevine is to be believed, Shilpa Shetty is playing the female lead in Ramu’s next production which is tentatively titled Darna Mana Hai.
The film, presumably a thriller, has a host of Bollywood stars including Nana Patekar, Vivek Oberoi, Antra Mali, Saif Ali Khan, Aftab Shivdasani, Sohail Khan, Sanjay Kapoor and Isha Koppikar.
Darna Mana Hai is being jointly promoted by Ramu’s Varma Corporation and N.R.I.-promoted entertainment company K Sera Sera.
The film, currently on the floors, is expected to hit the theatres in April.
