HOME | SCOOP!! & NEWS | BOLLYWOOD Shilpa Shetty to take younger sister under her wing05th May 2008 18.20 IST By ApunKaChoice Now that Shilpa Shetty ’s acting career is on the rise, the actress is looking forward to revive younger sister’s derailed career as well. One win in a British TV show last year has done wonders to Shilpa’s career. The actress became a hot property in the UK, what with all the perfume launches, Yoga DVD, and media appearances. And if anything was left, Shilpa bagged her first award recently (after all these years) in London for her supporting role in Anurag Basu’s Metro . 
Now, Shilpa is all revved up to begin her own film production house. The first project to be made under her home banner will star Shilpa herself. But Shilpa wants the second project to be made exclusively for the purpose of reviving sister Shamita Shetty ’s acting career. Shamita had entered Bollywood some eight years ago in Aditya Chopra’s film Mohabbatein . But she has not been able to get a foothold in Bollywood, thanks to inconsequential films like Zeher , Mohabbat Ho Gayi Hai Tumse , Fareb and Cash . Shilpa believes Shamita is not pushy enough to make her place in Bollywood. So Shilpa will provide a platform for Shamita to make a mark with a film that will be a home production. However, it is still too early to talk about the project. At present Shilpa is occupied with Sunny Deol’s next film The Man . She’s also begun working on her first home production featuring self.
