Such is her popularity in Telugu film world that heroes are said to be vying with one another to share screen space with the Christian girl from Kerala. So ‘busy’ is Ms Tara, who made her debut in Malayalam film ‘Manassinnakkere’, could not give dates even to Tamil superstar Kamal Haasan who offered her a role in his magnum opus ‘Dasavatharam’! 
The surge in Nayan’s popularity is a direct result of the stupendous success of her film, Lakshmi . Tremendously enthused by the phenomenal run of ‘Lakshmi’, its hero Venkatesh , says the grapevine, wants Nayans to be repeated in his next project. It is not Venkatesh alone who has expressed his willingness to have Nayanthara as his heroine. Another Telugu superstar Nagarjuna is also said to be intent on having Nayan as his jodi in his forthcoming flick. No wonder, these days, Nayanthara has no time for any project other than those in Tollywood. Why not? You get fabulous fee and good publicity, too.
