Kher presently has as many as four big projects in his hands. Among them the most talked about is the remake of ‘Victoria No. 203’, a hit movie from 1973. The original starred Ashok Kumar and Pran . The remake will have Anupam Kher and Om Puri reprising the roles of two conmen who find a key that unlocks a door to riches. The movie will be produced by former actor Kamal Sadanah and directed by Anant Mahadevan . 
Kher has also been signed for Rahul Rawail’s film Buddha Mar Gaya in which he plays the role of a corpse. Kher’s character in the film will be almost dead, but not entirely dead. The film is a black comedy that makes a comment about state of affairs in contemporary times. Apart from this, Kher is very excited about director N Chandra’s comeback film, Breaking News , which tells the story of a crucial day in the lives of various characters, Kher being one of them. And last but not the least, there is a talk of making a sequel to Khosla Ka Ghosla , the recently-released urbane comedy in which Kher played a middle-class man taking on a greedy builder. Kher is very excited about the prospect of the film’s sequel. But it is still not confirmed whether the sequel will indeed be made.
