Just a week after the release of Tashan – which hasn’t lived upto everyone’s expectations – come two relatively smaller films: Mr. White Mr. Black and Anamika . 
‘Mr. White Mr. Black’ is a comedy starring Sunil Shetty and Arshad Warsi in lead roles. The film has been in the making for a long time and was previously titled ‘Gopi Kishan’. The movie has Shetty playing a simpleton called Gopi who comes to Goa to gift a small piece of land to his childhood friend Kishen (Arshad). Kishen, however, is a conman who makes a living out of swindling people. Kishen gets to know about some stolen diamonds worth crores. Unwittingly, Gopi also gets sucked into a situation where everyone is out to outsmart the other to get the diamonds. ‘Mr. White Mr. Black’ is written and directed by Deepak Shivdasani . The movie also stars Tania Zaetta , Sandhya Mridul , Rashmi Nigam , Anishka Khosla and Mahima Mehta. On the other hand, Anant Mahadevan ’s movie ‘Anamika’ will also be releasing this Friday. The film, starring Dino Morea , Minissha Lamba and Koena Mitra has Dino playing a man who wants to erase every memory of his first wife (dead) when he falls in love with a beautiful girl (played by Minissha). However, strange things begin to happen when Minissha begins to see the dead wife. Is the woman just a part of Minissha’s imagination or has she come back to haunt her? The movie stars Aarti Chabria as the first wife but her scenes have reportedly been axed from the final print for creative reasons. Koena Mitra is also said to be unhappy about her role being chopped in the film.
