Akshay’s last release Humko Deewana Kar Gaye has been doing well in foreign markets and ranks in top 15 in the UK charts. 
And now Akshay has decided to be extremely selective in terms of signing films and vowed to do only three films a year. The decision of being selective has been taken after his whirlwind ‘Heat’ world tour. "I have been thinking about it for quite some time and decided to work in only 3 films a year. I know I would be offending some of the producers, but then I have to take the decision someday”, Akshay is reported to have said. "Right now I'm completing all my prior commitments and then I shall be free. Though I have made some bad career choices but I have managed a high success ratio. Currently my fans expectation from me has increased and I can't disappoint them”, he adds Akshay’s next movies slated for release are Jaaneman , Rituparno Ghosh 's Rahgir and Vipul Shah 's London Dreams . "I am on a position where I can be picky and I will stick to my decision of doing only 3 films unless Steven Spielberg wants to sign me”, he added smilingly.
