HOME | SCOOP!! & NEWS | BOLLYWOOD Muzammil Ibrahim gets expensive for Bollywood28th Oct 2007 15.09 IST By ApunKaChoice Muzammil Ibrahim , who made his acting debut in Pooja Bhatt’s dud Dhoka , has reportedly hiked his acting fee. Even the fact that it was the Bhatts who gave him his first Bollywood break did not play in favour of Soni Razdan (Mahesh Bhatt’s wife) when she approached Muzammil for a role in her next movie. 
According to reports, Razdan wanted Muzammil to play a corrupt cop on a payroll of gangsters from underworld in her film. She even had a series of meetings with the actor but the deal could not come through. Sources say the reason why Razdan did not sign Muzammil was because he demanded a hefty acting fee of Rs 90 lakhs. Considering that Muzammil is just one film old, this amount is unreasonably exorbitant. Both Razdan and Muzammil have refused to comment on this issue. After ‘Dhoka’, Muzammil has so far signed only one film – Horn Ok Please with actor Nana Patekar . He is also in talks with Mahesh Bhatt for another film.
