Mallika, who’s been shooting her film ‘Naagin –The Snake Woman’ in Kerala, has acquired a cottage at Vizhinjam near the well-known Kovalam beach in Kerala. The hut is currently being built by Habitat Technology Group by using environment friendly materials. 
Built on an area of 600 square feet, the hut is said to be a one-hall and one-bedroom cottage built with mud and bamboo. The location of the hut is on the top of a hill, overlooking the Arabian Sea. Mallika is expected to visit the cottage to decide on what type of roof she wants for the hut. Most likely the roof will be built with bamboo and tiles. According to reports, the hut may have cost Mallika anywhere between Rs 3 to 6 lakh. Well, that’s pittance for her.
