In the latest Bollywood release Lage Raho Munnabhai , Abhishek makes a one-minute long guest appearance as Dia Mirza’s groom at the movie’s fag end. Although he had just one dialogue in his cameo, Abhi says he had no issues about the length (or the lack of it) of his role in the film. 
Abhi says he doesn’t mind doing such cameos as long as the character he plays has an importance to the story. The actor does have a point if we consider such surprise appearances he has made in the past. In Hum Tum he was Rani Mukherjee’s husband. In Salaam Namaste he was an eccentric doctor and his cameo in Home Delivery too was not without significance. And now, rumour mills are abuzz that Abhi is slated to do a guest appearance in Nikhil Advani’s film Salaam-e-Ishq , which was recently being shot in London.
