Akshaye, who was once very outspoken about his relationship with actress and former girlfriend Tara Sharma seems to be playing safe this time round. For, he is rumoured to be dating a beautiful girl from New York. 
The buzz has it that Akshaye met this girl (her name not known) at a friend’s birthday a few months back. What began as a casual conversation between the two developed into friendship over the period of few weeks. The two were reportedly spotted at coffee shops in Mumbai hotels. And when Akshaye visits New York, he makes a point to meet his mystery girl. Although it is too early to speculate about his marriage, but sources are quoted as saying that Akshaye is indeed in a relationship with this New Yorker. She is also expected to come to Goa in February for a common friend’s wedding. Akshaye, who is shooting for Abbas-Mastan movie Race in South Africa, is also likely to fly down to be with her at the wedding.
