What happens when a naughty, seven-year-old kid tags up with a lovable ghost? Ravi Chopra’s production ‘Bhoothnath’ promises to be an entertainer that will win the hearts of kids and adults alike.

The movie stars Amitabh Bachchan, child artist Aman Siddiqui, Juhi Chawla, Satish Shah and Rajpal Yadav. Shah Rukh Khan has a guest role in the film.

Character Sketches:

Aman Siddiqui as Banku

He is perfect Dennis the menace. Banku loves to play pranks, make up stories and trouble his mom. His innocence is deceiving. Since he has moved to Nath Villa he has made a special friend – Bhoothnath.

Juhi Chawla as mom Anjali Sharma

She is an easy-going, fun-loving but incredibly lazy person. Doing chores at home isn’t her cup of tea. She and her son Banku have a lot of fun at home. They play and laugh all the time.

Amitabh Bachchan as Bhoothnath (Kailash Nath)

Banku’s imaginary friend Bhoothnath is his partner in crime. Bhoothnath, who initially is reserved and irritable in the film, transforms when he finds a grandson in Banku. He shares a very special relationship with him. The two are inseparable. They play a lot of pranks at school and home. The bond between them personifies love and innocence.

Satish Shah as Principal Irani

Irani is the principal at Banku’s new high school. He is extremely fond of students’ lunch boxes. He is in for a ride when Bhoothnath and Banku pull a prank on him where whatever he speaks comes out as gibberish.

Rajpal Yadav as drunkard Anthony

He is a dare-devil drunkard who has the courage to stay at the haunted Nath Villa, where no one even dares to come close. He sincerely wants to be of some help to Anjali, but ends up messing it all the more.

Synopsis:

It is believed that children have the strongest connection to God. They have the ability to perceive goodness in everything and everyone.

‘Bhoothnath’ is a story of a seven-year-old naughty yet innocent boy who unknowingly turns a foe into a friend.

This is the story of Banku and his friend Bhoothnath. Banku and his mom come to Nath Villa which is inhabited by a ghost who is stuck in limbo. Banku befriends this ghost and helps him achieve salvation.

This is a story about innocence, honesty and the pure love of a child. It is believed a mother’s love is selfless. But a child’s love can transform relationships. It comes with no expectations and no boundaries. Their love can make you believe in miracles.

‘Bhoothnath’ is a story that will show the adults to see the world through the eyes of a child.
