Ayesha, who has climbed the stairs of success with her latest release Dor , is keeping to her word. A few months back she had made the point clear to everyone that she won’t give any scenes in which she has to lock her lips with her male co-star. And now the girl has proved her words. 
Ayesha recently got an offer from her rakhi brother, filmmaker Nagesh Kukunoor , to be a part of his next venture Aashayein . In spite of liking the concept and the script, Ayesha refused to do the role because it demanded a kiss. It is a bold decision on Ayesha’s part given the fact that Kukunoor has extracted from her the best performance of her acting career so far in ‘Dor’. It is notable that Ayesha also refused to work in Yash Raj’s movie Neal 'N' Nikki because the film demanded lots of exposure and kissing. Ayesha, who is going steady with her boyfriend Farhan, has said that she wants to work in films that she can watch with her family without feeling embarrassed. Although she admits she has made some mistakes in choosing projects in the past, but she has learnt and has now vowed to avoid anything sleazy or racy in the future. And by turning down Kukunoor’s offer, Ayesha is truly sticking to her word.
