Shoojit Sircar Biography

 
Shoojit Sircar hails from West Bengal in India. He was brought up in the theatre atmosphere of Delhi and he launched a theatre group before switching over to cinema.

In 1999, Sircar founded Red Ice Films, one of the country’s leading film production houses. Sircar’s creative output has been prolific with well over 200 commercials and music videos to his name.

‘Yahaan’ is Sircar’s first feature film.
